At LIPSA, we believe that a responsible and resilient supply chain must be built from the source. That is why our Purchasing, Quality, and Sustainability teams have recently taken part in key international events to strengthen relationships with suppliers, drive sustainability programs, and gain first-hand insight into industry progress.
In Manila, we had the opportunity to participate in the Sustainable Coconut Roundtable 2025, hosted by the Sustainable Coconut Partnership. This event allowed us to meet with our coconut oil suppliers, follow up on the progress of our sustainable coconut program, and reinforce our joint efforts to reduce contaminants such as MOSH and MOAH, in collaboration with our quality control teams. It was also a valuable space for knowledge exchange, keeping us up to date on innovations and the sector’s progress toward increasingly sustainable and responsible practices.

Similarly, in Cartagena de Indias, we attended the 21st International Oil Palm Conference, organized by the National Federation of Oil Palm Growers (Fedepalma). This conference provided the opportunity to meet with suppliers, learn first-hand about the latest market trends and pricing, and explore the technological and scientific developments shaping the future of palm oil cultivation.

Both experiences highlight the importance of working directly at the source, understanding the challenges and opportunities of each sector, and collaborating closely with our strategic partners. Only in this way can we ensure high-quality, sustainable, and traceable raw materials that meet the expectations of our customers and align with our sustainability commitments.
