On February 10, José Daniel López and Alberto Palma paid an exclusive visit on behalf of LIPSA to ASEPEYO’s Innovation and Research Center for Occupational Risk Prevention, located in Sant Cugat. It was a highly enriching day that reaffirmed our company’s strong commitment to the safety, health, and well-being of the people who are part of our organization.
The visit began with a welcome from ASEPEYO’s National Director of Prevention, Mr. Evarist Llenas, with whom they had the opportunity to hold an in-depth discussion on the main current challenges in occupational risk prevention, regulatory developments, and the importance of integrating a preventive culture into business strategy.
They were then given a tour of the center’s facilities, accompanied by Javier Galindo, Head of the Management Area, and Isabel Criach, Occupational Risk Prevention Technician, together with specialist technicians from each preventive unit. During the visit, they were able to learn first-hand about the research methodologies, analytical tools, and technological resources that ASEPEYO provides to support continuous improvement in workplace safety and health.
Prevention as a strategic pillar
At LIPSA, we understand that occupational risk prevention is not only a legal obligation, but also a strategic pillar for the company’s sustainable development. Ensuring safe working environments not only protects the health of our professionals, but also improves efficiency, strengthens the workplace environment, and reinforces our corporate social responsibility.
Facilities such as ASEPEYO’s Innovation Center make it possible to move towards more proactive prevention models, based on research, risk anticipation, and continuous training. Initiatives like this inspire us to continue working to integrate prevention at all levels of the organization, fostering a culture in which safety is a shared value.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, learn about best practices, and explore new avenues of collaboration that will help us continue raising our standards in occupational safety and health. On behalf of LIPSA, we would like to thank ASEPEYO, and especially Mr. Evarist Llenas, Javier Galindo, Isabel Criach, and the entire technical team, for their warm welcome and for giving us the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into their work in prevention innovation and research.
