Biscuits are one of the most enjoyable ways of giving energy to children and adults alike with the appropriate quantities of fats, carbohydrates and proteins.
Fats join forces with the nutritional contribution of this product to the daily diet to give us the energy we need to carry out our day to day activities. Oils and fats provide a lubricating action; their dispersion throughout the biscuit dough avoids the agglutination of the flour, so that a continuous ovenproof structure is formed.
We can design different profiles of oils and/or fats for the biscuit’s dough, its filling and its coating, with the physico-chemical properties that favour their application, resulting in an end product that is both tempting and has a good nutritional profile, that is stable and low in trans fats.
